The study will focus on the end of World War II and the reminder that reconstruction work was prepared and carried out during the war, but also during 1945 itself, to eliminate the destruction of the war. However, it is not just about post-war reconstruction, but the fact that every crisis or disaster ends and the state apparatus must be prepared to continuously update the relevant plans and respond to new historical situations. The polythematic issue will focus on studies in the history of administration, auxiliary historical sciences, Czech and world history, political, economic, social and cultural history using sources from the National Archives or related to its holdings. The monothematic issue will be devoted to the analysis of the content and socio-historical context of the creation of archival collections stored in state or private archives in the Czech Republic, or possibly abroad. Archival collections, as sets of documents of various provenances that were collected for a specific purpose on the basis of one or more common features, are of a diverse nature and therefore provide considerable potential for new scientific interpretation through historical research based on local and international projects and, last but not least, for the creation of thematic databases.

Abstracts can be sent to the web form by 28. 2. 2027. You will be informed about the acceptance of the abstract of the study in the monothematic issue of Paginae historiae by 30. 4. 2027. The editorial board of the journal reserves the right to accept the abstract. The publication languages are Czech, English, Slovak, German. Contributions in another language may also be accepted, which the editors will translate.
